Dancehall is a genre of Jamaican popular music that originated in the late 1970s. Initially dancehall was a more sparse version of reggae than the roots style, which had dominated much of the 1970s. Two of the biggest stars of the early dancehall era were Yellowman and Eek-a-Mouse. Dancehall brought a new generation of producers, including Linval Thompson, Gussie Clarke and Jah Thomas. In the mid-1980s, digital instrumentation became more prevalent, changing the sound considerably, with digital dancehall (or "ragga") becoming increasingly characterized by faster rhythms.

Video: MoStack - Let It Ring

MoStack keeps delivering a slew of wavy Dancehall vibes in his new track "Let it Ring". Helped along side visuals of him hitting up the paint balling range with a couple of the boys his lyrics intertwine with the video perfectly as he manages to make a threat sound so harmless and playful.

I guess that's his way of saying he is really in the streets and all the politics that comes with it is fun to him. Check the video here!

Lyric Video: Doctor - Only You (prod by. Hitimpulse & Unik)

Summer time banger alert, Doctor jumps in the scene and hits us early with a vibe of a single that contains mixtures of Trap, Bashment and Dancehall. I can hear this playing at up and coming summer time festivals and I wouldn't be surprised if we get a wave of fine women uploading twerking videos onto Instagram with this playing in the background. Doctor definitely has the you definitely have the remedy with this one.

Doctor says Only You is  “a song made for the girl that’s down for their man no matter what, through thick and thin”.
